Bridgeport to Boston Movers

Bridgeport → Boston · the same crew loads in Bridgeport and carries it through your new door, all on one written flat rate.

Boston is about 150 miles northeast of Bridgeport, and we don’t run it straight up the shoreline the whole way. Our drivers take I-95 north, then cut over to I-84 and the Mass Pike to reach the city, which works out to roughly two and a half to three hours of driving once the truck is loaded. We set the start time to land the crew at your Boston address inside your building’s window.

The crew that loads you is the crew that unloads you

This is one continuous New Chapter move. The same uniformed movers who pack your Bridgeport home ride the truck to Boston and carry everything inside, whether you’re headed to Back Bay, Somerville, or out toward the suburbs. We never relay your shipment to a separate Massachusetts company, because we own the trucks and employ the crews ourselves. The interstate portion runs under our US DOT and MC authority, with our CTDOT household-goods certificate covering the Connecticut side.

For many homes the load and delivery still fit in one long day; bigger four-bedroom moves may run into a second, and we’ll say so up front. You get a single binding written flat rate, a named delivery day, and released-value coverage at $0.60 per pound with full-value protection available. Begin with a free quote and we’ll lock both the price and the day.

Notes From the Long-Distance Runs

“Booked the two-mover crew for a one-bedroom and they hit the $155 hourly rate right on the dot, no padded time. Honest from the deposit to the last box.”

“Downsized my dad out of his Black Rock place near the harbor and into assisted living. It's an emotional thing and the crew handled it with real care. They were gentle with him and just as gentle with his old furniture. They took apart his recliner so it would fit through the narrow door of the new room and put it right back together inside. Nobody rushed a man who needed to go slow that day. When he got confused about which boxes were which, the lead just walked him through it calmly. They treated him like family, plain and simple. And the flat quote held even though we added two extra boxes at the door.”

“Fairfield to Boston, roughly 150 miles up I-95 and across to the Pike. Same two guys both ends, binding quote, and they texted me their ETA the whole drive. Couldn't ask for cleaner.”

Route FAQ

Why route through I-84 and the Mass Pike instead of staying on I-95?
Cutting inland to I-84 and the Massachusetts Turnpike is the steadier path to Boston for a loaded truck than grinding up the I-95 shoreline the whole way. It's about two and a half to three hours of driving on that line.
Could a Boston move spill into a second day?
For most apartments and smaller homes, no, it fits in one long day. A full four-bedroom house with a long carry on either end can push into a second day. We tell you which it is when we size the job at quote time.
Do I get the same movers in Boston that I had in Bridgeport?
Yes. The New Chapter crew that loads your Connecticut home drives the truck up and unloads it in Boston. There's no hand-off to another mover and no marketplace passing your job along.
